This One's For You Stressed Students

So, your pulling your hair out. Your living on coffee and energy drinks. Your reading and reading and rereading so much that it's almost not helping. You stay up all night studying and do your best not to sleep in class. Your middle name becomes cram. It sounds like to me your a student getting ready for finals.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:27

It's common for students to be stressing out this time of the year. In fact, it's almost weird if they don't. But, in a life where you care a lot about your school and really want to do well, you must find a balance with your relationship with God.

Being a Christian can be hard but it most definitely has its benefits. And this, for one, is one of them. We have the greatest peace in the world at our fingertips. All we must do is call on Him and His peace will cover us completely. That's it. So when you're getting stressed, take heart and call on His name. He's waiting to help you.

So, this one's for all you pencil pushin, sleepwalking, and broke students out there who need a little peace.

This One's For You Travelers

That's right. This one's for you people out there who love seeing new sights. Whether it's the weather that you enjoy the diversity of, the landscape that keeps you in awe, or the culture of the locals that you enjoy experiencing, this is for you. Often people associate traveling with being away from home. In a conversation about such, you might hear things along the line of "I miss my family too much" or "i miss not knowing exactly where I am and what I'm doing".

I've decided traveling is an art. And just like every other art, it's a hobby for some, a lifestyle for others, and a waste of time for certain people who's pallet calls for a different form of art. I personally don't understand why someone wouldn't want to experience places, people, foods, music, and environment different than what they are use to, but then again some might argue that modern art is what they live for and I, myself, do not find interest in that art form.

So, here's to you fellow travelers out there who love long drives, rushing airports, and experiencing new cutlers whether they be an hour away or across the planet.

This One's For You Shower Singers

Just so you know, everyone CAN hear you. But, don't let that stop you from singing your heart out. "I'm sure your shower-head is very impressed" as quoted in a movie. You walk around all day keeping your emotions together, and singing is a great way to let it all out and express yourself. So, go ahead and belt it out.

I believe a new generation of shower singers is being raised up. Be proud of who you are!

This One's For You Rain Lovers

Yup, this one's for you crazy kids out there who enjoy the terrifying rumble of thunder, the frightening flashes of lightening, and the depressing sound of all the cloud tears as they splash down onto the pavement, windows, and leaves.

The very things that keep me up at night are the things that help some of you sleep soundly, some of you think clearly, and others stay up later just so they can enjoy "the nice sound". Psh, crazy cats.

This one is for you all. Without you, everyone would be like me... and that would be a disaster.

This One's For the Night Owls

This one's for you night owls out there who need to be sleeping but, won't give yourself the chance. Why do we deny ourselves of sleep we need to be getting? Better question: why do we get so much more done at 1:30 in the morning!?


This one's for you night owls who find yourself day dreaming at night instead of sleep dreaming... and this one's for you night owls who just understood exactly what i meant in that previous chaotic mess i call a blog post.
